Hi, I’m Laura!

I’m Laura (she/they), a neurodivergent therapist in San Jose, CA who loves helping folks navigate the complexity of being human.

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable with your therapist. I’m super present with my clients and place value on being authentic and building trust.

The inner world has fascinated me for a long time. Having done (and continuing to do) my own healing work means I come to this role with lived experience and a sense of what it’s like to be on the other side of the process.

Before becoming a therapist, I was working as an artist (I still make art constantly). Creativity can be such a bridge to understanding ourselves, each other, and the world. I believe in art and play as part of healing.

Outside of the office, I can often be found walking my dog Louie with a camera or book in my hand.

Hi, I’m Louie!

I come to the office sometimes and I’m really chill—especially for a husky! I like sniffing and curling up for a nap (sometimes at your feet). My favorite things are meeting other dogs, being with a pack, and going for walks (sniffari)!
